Lorraine Toussaint joins the cast of Forever

Lorraine Toussaint is about to be on the other side of the law.

The actress, who played on Orange is the new black season 2 as inmate Vee, that landed a regular gig in the series forever.

According to TV Line, Toussaint as lieutenant Joanna Reece on the upcoming ABC drama, a character described as a veteran of police who has "seen it all", and serves as a patron of Alana of Garza's detective Jo Martinez

Forever puts Ioan Gruffudd in the Dr. Henry Morgan, a medical examiner in New York... who is secretly immortal.

Garza plays the recently widowed homicide detective who takes advantage of Morgan insights to assist it in its investigations.

Forever will be broadcast every Tuesday at 10/9 c on ABC, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. follwing Marvel
