Erich Blunt gets bail after some wonderful manoeuvring by his civilian lawyer on the murder in season 1 Episode 5.

Despite a winning performance by Hertzberg in and out of court, Erich needs a real criminal defense lawyer for his trial, then it goes back to Warren Daniels. It takes $10 million and a detector of falsehood, but Daniels test comes back on board.

Erich can be charged with murder of Cindy, but the police are obliged to investigate the husband of Cindy when they learn their may be evidence of his involvement there. It is certainly not a case opened and closed against Erich.

"Pants on fire" is an episode stretched over the case of Cindy Strauss, but there are also several clashes and funny moments as well.
